Left 4 Dead 2 is targeted to be released on November 17, 2009 exclusively on Xbox 360 and PC.

The sequel to the first Left 4 Dead does not exhibit any graphical improvements from its predecessor, the character design, voice-actor, and the environment changes. Left 4 Dead is set in American South, the story will be more narrative than the first Left 4 Dead where you just jump from one stage to another with no stories to tell. Left 4 Dead will feature 5 new campaigns. The story starts in Savannah and works its way up to New Orleans. What intriguing about the Savannah is that its city hasn't hit with zombie infested yet. There is rumor saying that one of the campaign will take place in swamp-based. That is all we know about the storyline so far.

Left 4 Dead 2 features new weapons along with the old ones. You can use a silenced machine gun. It is merely sounds cool and looks cool but it doesn't affect on the gameplay. Next is a new assault rifle, it has greater precision and tighter grip than any other rifle. The most appealing about Left 4 Dead 2 arsenal lies in its melee weapon. Both frying pan and axe are shown on the gameplay, both packs more punch than using your gun as baton. Chainsaw and baseball bat will be introduced as well even though we did not see the demonstration.

The main character in Left 4 Dead 2 are Nick (the guy in a suit), Ellis (the mechanic), Rochelle (the girl), and Coach (the big, fat guy). All will carry unique personalities like in the first Left 4 Dead characters (Zoey, Francis, Louis, and Bill). The dialogue will be as fun and as spiteful as the first one. The development of Left 4 Dead 2 turns out to be more interesting than its predecessor, we can't wait how the game evolves until its release date on November 17, 2009.
