Enter the world of the Bionic Commando. This game will entice the players to rely on the Commando's Bionic arm as a weapon and a means to stay one step faster than the enemies actions. There will be story telling, visuals and a multiplayer that will allow for player interactions. The score is quite high due to the multiplayer mode, but the short gaming and the concentration to practice swings with the Bionic Arm brings the score down to a reasonable pace. Overall Score 8.0
Gameplay: 8.0 The game uses elements like radiation to keep the character from straying out of bounds. These boundaries can have the presence of radiation that kills the player if straying too far. The character in the game is Nathan Spencer who can hang, climb and even swing across platforms and buildings. The Bionic Arm allows players to attack enemies both at close and far ranges. The Bionic Arm can be used for various tasks such as grabbing objects, launching objects at enemies and also throwing cars. The player will have to read the instructions while playing and also practice the Bionic Arm's tutorial in order to have a hang of the controls. Swinging from one platform to the next takes great concentration and practice. Eventually the when the swings are mastered, the game becomes a matter of using your best weapon; the Bionic Arm.
Graphics: 8.0 The screen turns red when the player starts to die. This will tell players that there is oncoming enemy fire. In all, it's just great graphics. Sound: 9.0 The sound is amazing. There are also great music made for this very game. You can check out the music soundtracks by clicking the music icon above this page. The music is amazing, I'm listening to them now. Replay: 7.0 The replay ability of this game is great due to the multiplayer mode. There can be up to ten players in a death match or capture the flag. Many weapons are available such as: the handgun, shotgun, sniper rifle, heavy machine gun, and grenade launcher. The single player is kind of short, say around 7 hours to finish for an average gamer. The swinging sometimes becomes boring.
