Review Overall Score 8.3
Gameplay: 10 An action-adventure game that will take the player into a dark environmental ride into the Arkham Asylum. The joker sets a trap for Batman to enter the Arkham Asylum. The players have a third person point of view. The game also introduces various techniques to help Batman fight through the levels. Batman can glide slowly to the ground and take down enemies. Gameplay also features Matrix like movements when entering combat. The Matrix like combat looks great especially when the viewers want to see the action that is being done. Combats can also harbor combo attacks to take down enemies. Batman can also do special throws and combats. Batman can also undergo detective vision. Detective vision allows batman to see enemies through walls; This is useful especially when Batman wants to operate a hidden stealth attack on enemies unexpecting the Dark Knight. Batman can also use the grappling hook, and Batarang. The grappling hook allows Batman to swing from walls or gargoyles. This is due to the combats and fighting along the Asylum. The safest way for Batman to fight through enemies is by using stealth and hiding in the shadows.
Graphics: 7 The graphics are intrigueing but not cutting edge technology. Batman game graphics looks like it's from the mid 2000 era. The environment is dark. The player might go crazy like the people in the Asylum seeing the same dark environment. The joker looks great in the game. He actually looks like a character that would scare the player, and allow for an exciting gameplay to defeat the villains in Batman.
Sound: 10 The sound is a high dose of brilliancy and archeticially inserted into the game and graphics. The background noises scare players just like jokers laugh. There is a story each time Batman progresses.
Replay: 6 Batman is replayable when the player is into dark environments. The environment has many shadows and dark corners. Batman likes to lurk in dark corners. There are no multiplayer modes and thus some players may become bored.
